WORM REDUCTION GEAR BOXES
About Us:
One of our lifts’ best features is the worm reduction gear boxes. These gear boxes are made of premium cast iron, are dust- and oil-tight, and are expertly machined for maximum efficiency and silent operation. This results in a stable power gearbox and a comfortable ride for the passengers.
Worm
Worms are generated on high quality case – hardening steel accurately generated, ground and super finished on fully automatic “7 AXIS CNS WORM PROFILE GRINDING MACHINE”
Worm Wheel
The wheel shaft is made of Carbon – steel and machined on fully automatic turning center, with high quality case harding
Bearing
Both the shafts are located on dual purpose bearing on ample capacity and having substantial margin on output shaft for accommodating overhung loads.
Cooling
For air – cooling we use standard polypropylene fans which direct a continuous flow of air over the ribbed surface of the gear unit.

Motor Details
Motor Details These motors are specially designed for lift for smooth starting & silent operation. Rotor is of double cage cooper bars & dynamically balanced. Sleeve bearings are provided with self circulating oil system but without oil seals. It gives starting torque of 2 to 2.5 times the full load torque. Motors are suitable for 120 starts per hour. Oil recommended
